Credits — a personal, beautifully-made film and TV journal.
A journal for everything you've watched — with season-by-season TV tracking, a home screen widget, and Siri shortcuts, wrapped in a custom "Glassy Gold" theme.
The problem / idea
Most "watch tracking" apps feel like spreadsheets with icons. Credits started from a different question: what would a film and TV journal feel like if it were designed with the same care as the films it's cataloguing?
My role
Solo design and development — visual design, data model, and the full SwiftUI build.
Design & development work
Recent work spans the visual system and several platform integrations:
- A custom "Glassy Gold" theme applied consistently across every screen
- A hybrid timeline view — a horizontal map strip paired with a vertical card list
- A home screen widget sharing data via an App Group snapshot
- Siri integration through App Intents
- Season-by-season TV tracking and franchise/collection browsing
Technology
Outcome & current status
Still in active development. A "Director's Cut" premium tier is designed and feature-flagged, pending licensing arrangements — a deliberate decision to hold back monetisation until the core experience has real usage behind it.
