Squish — shrink and convert media on your Mac, simply.
A native macOS media compressor and converter, built to make big files small without a wall of settings. Listed on the App Store as Squish Video.
The problem / idea
Compressing a video should not need a command line or a bloated editor. Squish does one job: take a large media file, make it smaller or change its format, and get out of the way.
My role
Solo design and development, from concept through to App Store release.

- Native macOS app built with SwiftUI
- Media compression and format conversion
- One-time premium unlock — no subscription
- Launched through three App Store review rounds
- Post-launch developer panel for diagnosing issues
- Icon refreshed for macOS Tahoe
Technology
Outcome & current status
Live on the Mac App Store. The premium unlock is a deliberate one-off purchase, priced as a small passive-income side project rather than a big earner.
